Trip to Ragama, Sri Lanka

1-12 March 2010

Charlie Dittmeier first went to Ragama, Sri Lanka when he was working in Bangalore, India 1983-1985. Sri Lanka was the nearest and easiest place to renew an Indian visa and it is also the the location of St. Joseph's School for the Deaf in Ragama, about 12 miles north of Colombo, the capital. Charlie returned there periodically but has not been there now for more fifteen years, so when a special promotional airline ticket was available, he decided to return again for another visit.
